Community partners
Organizations we work alongside
These relationships were built through the South Florida Overlanders community over years of shared events. Formal partnership agreements under the Foundation are being established now.
Radio & communications
South Dade GMRS Club
Runs radio programming at Foundation and community events, including demonstrations, radio checks and Parks on the Air activations. Co-hosted the Big Cypress family meetup.
Search & rescue
Canine to the Rescue
Search, rescue and relief missions with working dogs across the region, supported by an overland capable fleet. The community rides alongside and supports their operations.
Documentation
Aerial Recon Media
Aerial documentation of community outings, including the Okaloacoochee Slough meetup. Route and condition documentation is a stewardship tool as much as a media one.
Outdoor community
GP Overlanding
A South Florida overland community that has run joint meetups with our crew, including the J.W. Corbett WMA day.
Outdoor community
Miami Overland
Long standing collaborator on group outings across South Florida public lands.
Outdoor community
Soul Road FL
Part of the wider South Florida overland community that shares events, routes and recovery support.
Outdoor community
Boss Overlanding
Collaborator on community rides and shared events across the region.
Disaster relief
Global Empowerment Mission
Received the full proceeds of a community fundraiser for emergency relief following earthquakes in Venezuela.
Local charity
LA6 Foundation
Beneficiary of an annual vintage car show the community supports alongside other local charities.
Corporate sponsors
Backing a program, not buying a logo slot
Sponsorship should support work that produces a measurable community or environmental result. If it cannot be reported on afterwards, it is advertising, and there are better places to buy that.
What sponsors provide
- •Financial sponsorship of a named program
- •Equipment, including safety and radio equipment
- •Food and event supplies
- •Educational resources
- •Volunteer support from their own team
- •Professional services
What we can sponsor
- •A stewardship project, start to published record
- •Youth and Junior Explorer programming
- •An outdoor education workshop series
- •Event permits, safety equipment and loaner radios
- •A conservation awareness campaign
What a sponsor gets back. Honest acknowledgement, and a report you can publish: what ran, who turned up, how many hours went in and what changed on the ground. We would rather give you something checkable than something flattering.
